Records of the American Expeditionary Force (World War I), 1917-1923 (record group 120). Letters, reports, studies, minutes, cablegrams, charts, maps, pamphlets, and books sent to and received from American, British, French, and Italian sources, mostly 1917-1919. They reflect the role of the American section collecting and analyzing data to support the Supreme War Council's work in co-ordinating the Allied war effort in 1918, implementing the terms of the Armistice and drafting the peace treaties of 1919.
